Comfortable, Thoughtful Care When a Tooth Cannot Be Saved

Tooth Extractions Albemarle

At Little Long Creek Dental

At Little Long Creek Dental, preserving your natural teeth is always our priority. However, when a tooth is severely damaged, decayed, or infected and cannot be predictably restored, extraction may be the most appropriate treatment.

Dr. Case carefully evaluates each situation, explains the available options, and helps patients make informed decisions about their dental health.

What to Expect

Before an extraction, Dr. Case will review your medical history, examine the affected tooth, and obtain any necessary radiographs.

Local anesthesia is used to numb the area and minimize discomfort during the procedure. Following treatment, we provide instructions to promote proper healing and recovery.

Wisdom Tooth Extractions

Dr. Case performs select wisdom tooth extractions when the teeth are fully erupted and can be safely removed. Impacted wisdom teeth or those requiring more complex surgical treatment are referred to an oral surgeon when appropriate.

Emergency Extractions

Dental pain, swelling, or a severely broken tooth may require prompt attention. We offer limited emergency examinations to evaluate urgent dental concerns and determine the appropriate treatment.

When clinically appropriate, an extraction may be performed during the emergency visit, depending on the complexity of the procedure and appointment availability.

We're Here to Help

Whether you need a planned extraction or are experiencing an urgent dental concern, our goal is to provide comfortable, personalized care and help you understand your treatment options.
